Guri Solberg began her hosting career in NRK, where she led several shows on NRK P3 and NRK2 before transferring to TV 2 in 2004. Here she has hosted shows like Absolutt underholdning, Idol, X-factor, Det Store Korslaget, and last but not least - 5 whole seasons of Skal vi Danse. She has also hosted award shows such as Amanda, Nordic Music Awards, Gullfisken, Juleaksjonen, as well as interviewed a range of interesting people, from politicians to pop stars, in the programs Ettermiddagen and Sommertid.

 

Guri has a degree in journalism from Høgskolen i Volda, and has also studied film and literature. Her background as a journalist, and experience from large entertainment shows makes her a steady host and interviewer for conferences as well as light-hearted evening events.
